The Short-Scar Deep-Plane Facelift is designed for patients between 50 and 70 years of age who have significant skin excess, deep-tissue laxity, or facial deflation following massive weight loss. Although these patients present with advanced aging changes, the procedure still begins with the same core principles of the endoscopic vertical lift used in the Fıratlift technique — ensuring vertical vector elevation, deep-plane tissue release, and natural rejuvenation.

After completing all deep-plane and structural lift components, skin redraping and trimming are performed in a stepwise manner. Excess skin is first addressed behind the ear, then—depending on the amount of redundancy—may extend around the earlobe, behind the tragus, or, in more advanced cases, in front of the helix to achieve smooth redraping of the facial and cervical skin.

The goal of this approach is to achieve maximum correction with minimal incision length. By combining the endoscopic vertical lift philosophy with selective skin excision, it becomes possible to treat even severe laxity with shorter scars, maintaining the hallmark natural and scar-concealed aesthetic of the Fıratlift system.
